The IFRS17 standards in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region has been rapidly gaining momentum and is expected to expand exponentially in the coming years. Rising awareness and use of IFRS17 standards can be attributed to the continuous emphasis of companies enhancing financial management and productivity to edge out competition and drive revenue growth. To get actuaries up to speed with this trend, we are conducting the AICT-SOA Joint Seminar – IFRS17 in Taipei, Taiwan on 20 October, 2020.
This seminar will provide an engaging learning platform for Asia-Pacific members and non-members to share their experiences on IFRS17 topic. The Organizing Committee is currently seeking ideas for engaging sessions to be presented by seasoned speakers who are interested in sharing their expertise through interactive sessions.

Speakers should assume that you (or your employer) will be responsible for your own travel and lodging expenses if you opt to present at the in-person meeting. Due to the unforeseen pandemic status in different countries, selected speakers from outside Taiwan will be asked to deliver their presentation in virtual format, in that case, some or all of this financial support may be used to defray the expense of delivering their presentations on a remote platform. The seminar registration fee will be waived for speakers, we invite you to participate in the entire seminar.
